THIS IS FOOTBALLEAD

My name is Cyrus Irvani. I am 20 years old, and I’ve been working in different roles in football since I was 15. From coaching to scouting. From working with Carlos Queiroz and Ajax to working at amateur clubs in Germany and the Netherlands.

I’ve coached in countries where football is a religion.
I’ve worked at Ajax, where the standards are non-negotiable.
And I’ve stood on the sidelines in youth academies where no one claps when you get it right, and everyone talks when you get it wrong.

I’ve seen the game from the inside.
From the weight of expectation to the silence after a loss.
From managing emotions in a 13-year-old to speaking in rooms where no one cares how young you are, only if you know what you’re doing.

And over time, one thing became clear.

Coaching is not just tactics.

It’s how you carry yourself when no one’s watching.
It’s what you say when everyone’s listening.
It’s the balance between knowing the game and understanding people.

Footballead is where I talk about those things.

The important parts of coaching, on and off the pitch.
From tactics to media handling.
From leadership to dressing room dynamics.
From building trust to surviving pressure.

This isn’t content.
It’s a reflection of what the job really feels like.
The weight. The silence. The small moments no one sees,
but that change everything.

This is Footballead.
If you feel it, you’re already part of it.
